Did you know that April is Stress Awareness Month? It’s been held every April since 1992. Every so often it’s important to take a deep breath and think about what’s stressing you out and brainstorm ways to overcome that stress. My computer’s been acting up a lot lately and while I was working on this post the spinning pinwheel of death popped up. Normally I physically tense up when this happens–I start to grimace and subconsciously clench my fists–but this time I decided to take a deep breath, put the situation into perspective, and relax. Three deep breaths later and the pinwheel was gone and I was feeling much more calm. Try it, it works!
